In order to protect "the self"_ the word of world doesn't help, What is required is_ to face the reality, but sometimes, the best self defence of life is_to build a wall within. The wall may not sound poditive but dometimes it is the only solution untill there is someone or something that can lead you the way out. The wall also may not feel strong enough to feel protected and one keeps building such walls to make a fort. But once the fort is build the only thing one can belive and hope to protect is from by fate. Its only the fate that decides the final strenght of the temporary fort build and the outcomes thereafter. Such forts may not work for everyone and may counterwork for most but sometimes these forts are only something that can give you the hope of survival of your mere existance in this world.
